Fire Bricks

So what makes a fire brick different from any other brick?.......the answer is that the clay used is typically high in aluminium content, have a high density and consequently have a high thermal mass. These characteristics make them perfect for many applications including fire places, chimneys, pizza ovens, combustion heaters, hearths and BBQ's.

These are original fire bricks reclaimed from old kilns. These reclaimed bricks are great for outdoor chimneys, fireplaces or pizza ovens but can also be used for their unique decorative charm and aged appearance. Unlike new fire bricks, these fire bricks are not just a flat monotoned colour but will have beautiful colourings from previous heat cycles and have amazing individuality.
