Reduction Fired Grey Bricks

Reduction firing is the pre-eminent method to produce through colour bricks that range in colour from silvery whites through to mid toned greys and dark greys. Minor iridescent blue flashes are the tell tale signature of reduction fired bricks. Reduction fired bricks are fired in 2 separate kilns, the second being an earth covered kiln devoid of oxygen but with just the right amount of moisture.

Due to the complex nature of production, typical lead time for reduction fired bricks is 16 weeks.
