Joints Matter: Flush Jointed Jerusalem Whites

A beautiful brick façade is never the result of the bricks alone. It is achieved through the careful combination of many elements, including the choice of brick, mortar colour, brick bond, the skill of the bricklayer and, just as importantly, the joint profile.

The image shown is an excellent example of our recommended finish for Jerusalem White bricks. The mortar joints have been finished flush with the face of the brick and then lightly wet sponged to soften the appearance. This technique subtly exposes the texture of the brick while creating a refined, timeless finish. The result is a harmonious blend of soft ivory and warm limestone tones, complemented by delicate taupe, beige and light grey highlights that produce a gentle, natural variation across the façade.
