Roman Staffordshire Blues are distinctive handmade linear bricks, combining deep charcoal and blue-grey tones with subtle metallic flashes and natural tonal variation. Their textured faces, softened edges and occasional firing marks celebrate the character of traditional brickmaking, ensuring no two bricks are exactly alike.
At 330 × 50 × 110 mm, their long, low-profile format creates strong horizontal lines and a refined architectural appearance. Bold yet timeless, Roman Staffordshire Blues are ideal for contemporary façades, feature walls and interiors seeking depth, texture and understated drama.
Produced using a specialised twice-fired manufacturing process, these bricks develop distinctive black flashes and subtle banding across their faces. Due to the specialised firing process and the climatic conditions required to achieve these unique colours, these bricks can only be manufactured between January and June each year. Production outside this period is not possible without compromising the distinctive finish that defines the product.
