Heritage Red

These Handmade Heritage Sandstock bricks capture the warmth, texture and subtle irregularity of traditional brickmaking. Their rich palette sits predominantly within earthy heritage reds and burnt terracotta, with gentle variations through warm orange, rust and deeper clay tones.

Each brick is individually handmade, producing the distinctive softly creased and textured face associated with genuine sandstock bricks. Fine folds, drag marks, shallow impressions and occasional pits remain visible across the surface, giving the brick a depth and tactile quality that cannot be replicated by a highly uniform machine-made product.

The edges are deliberately soft and slightly irregular, while small variations in shape, texture and colour give completed brickwork a relaxed, established appearance. These variations become particularly effective across a large façade, where changing sunlight catches the textured faces differently throughout the day.

With their classic red clay colouring and authentic handmade character, Heritage Sandstocks are particularly well suited to Federation and Edwardian homes, Californian bungalows, heritage renovations and sympathetic extensions, while their simplicity also works beautifully when contrasted against contemporary architecture.

The result is a warm, honest and distinct heritage brick, with enough variation and texture to give new brickwork the character and individuality normally associated with buildings that have stood for generations.
