Reclaimed fire bricks having already spent years, and sometimes decades, inside fireplaces, kilns or industrial furnaces, each brick develops its own distinctive character. Exposure to varying temperatures, flame patterns, ash and minerals creates a unique palette of charcoal blacks, smoky greys, rich browns, deep reds and occasional blue or purple heat staining. No two reclaimed fire bricks are identical, and these naturally developed colours tell the story of their previous working life, making them highly sought after for projects where authenticity and character are valued.
