Elephant skin creasing is what defines a genuine sandstock brick

Our Farmhouse bricks are noted for their deep and pervasive elephant skin creasing. These compression marks develope during moulding and drying and are characteristic of what are called sandstruck or sandstock bricks. These creasings are what define a genuine sandstock brick, have a close look at the picture below, once you have seen these it will be easy to spot fake varieties that are sandstocks in name only.
