Lime scumming and lime washed

It you want that old world charm you may like our Reclamation style bricks. We start off with a genuine handmade sandstock brick, as they are handmade every brick is unique, no two will every be the same, the textures are not stamped into the brick but rather develop naturally during moulding. After they are fired in our kilns we add a genuine lime scumming. The application of this lime scumming is done randomly to give a variegated old world charm. This lime scumming can also be wet sponged to give a lime or white washed character. Below is a perfect example of this type of brick, the end result is quite stunning.
